CinemaBin by Redtekk
Delete your account.
Two ways to delete the whole account, and a third for getting rid of only part of what is in it. The first takes about ten seconds and needs nothing from us; the second is for anyone who cannot get into the app any more.
Last updated 7 September 2026
1. In the app
- Open CinemaBin and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab and tap the picture at the top to open Settings.
- Scroll to Danger zone and tap Delete account.
- Type your password to confirm, then tap Delete permanently.
The account and its contents are removed at that moment. There is no waiting period and nothing to confirm by email.
2. By email, if you cannot sign in
Write to hello@redtekk.com from the address the account was registered with, and ask us to delete it. Say the username if you remember it. We answer from the same address and delete the account within 30 days, usually the same week.
We ask you to write from the registered address because it is the only way we can tell it is your account, and we will not delete somebody's diary on the word of a stranger.
3. Deleting only part of it, and keeping the account
You do not have to delete the account to get rid of something. All of this is in the app, and each one removes the data immediately:
- One entry from your log. Me tab, then the × beside the row. The title stays on your shelf; only that viewing goes.
- An episode, or a whole season. Open the series and un-tick it. Every logged viewing of it is removed, rewatches included.
- A whole title. Open the film or series and use Remove from library. It comes off your shelves and every entry you had for it is deleted with it.
- A comment. Yours anywhere, and anyone's underneath your own post.
- Your profile photo. Settings, then Remove beside the picture. The stored image is deleted from our server.
- A follow or a like. Unfollowing or un-liking removes that record.
If you would rather we did it, write to hello@redtekk.com from the address the account was registered with and say what should go. We do it within 30 days, usually the same week, and reply when it is done.
What is deleted
Everything tied to the account, on the spot:
- Your log: every entry, the dates, ratings, notes and rewatches.
- Your watchlist and library.
- Your profile: name, username, email address, country and photo.
- Follows in both directions, and any pending follow requests.
- Every account you had blocked, and every block anybody had placed on you.
- Likes and comments you left, including those on other people's entries.
- Every sign-in session, so the account is signed out everywhere.
- Your password hash.
None of it is archived, and there is no recovery window. If you want the entries themselves, export or note them down before you delete, because we cannot get them back for you afterwards.
What is kept, and for how long
- Support messages you sent us. The message stays so a conversation can be finished and so we have a record of what was asked, but the link to your account is removed, so it is no longer connected to you.
- Reports about content, yours or anybody's. The reason and the copy of the reported text stay, so a decision that has already been taken can be looked up and so a pattern of behaviour is not wiped clean by closing an account. The links to both accounts are removed, so neither name is attached to it any more.
- Ordinary server logs. Our host records requests, including IP addresses, to keep the service running and to investigate abuse. These rotate automatically and are held no longer than 30 days.
- Encrypted backups. Copies may survive briefly in our host's backups, which roll off on their own schedule within 30 days and are never restored selectively.
Nothing on this list is used to rebuild your account or to contact you, and none of it is ever sold or shared for advertising.
More detail
The privacy policy says what is collected in the first place and who else ever touches it. Anything unclear, write to hello@redtekk.com and a person will answer.
