Terms of use.

1. Who we are

CinemaBin is built and operated by Redtekk. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Redtekk, and "you" means the person using CinemaBin. Contact: hello@redtekk.com.

2. Agreeing to these terms

Creating an account, or using the app or this website, means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.

3. Who can use it

You must be at least eighteen years old, and you must be able to enter into a contract where you live. One account per person.

CinemaBin carries what people write about each other, in comments and in notes on a public diary, and it is built for adults on that basis. If we find an account belongs to somebody under eighteen we will remove it.

4. Your account

• Give an email address you actually control. You will need it to confirm the account and to recover it.
• Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
• Tell us promptly if you think somebody else is using it.
• Do not pretend to be somebody else, and do not take a username in order to impersonate a person or an organisation.

5. What you can do with it

Use CinemaBin for your own personal, non-commercial record of what you watch, on as many of your own devices as you like. We give you a personal, revocable, non-exclusive licence to do exactly that, and nothing more.

6. What you must not do

• Break the law with it, or use it to harass, threaten or abuse anybody.
• Post content that is unlawful, hateful, or that infringes somebody else's rights.
• Scrape it, or hit the API with automated tools, bulk requests or anything that is not the app.
• Reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to extract the source, except where the law says you may.
• Try to reach accounts, data or systems that are not yours, or work around a private account, a rate limit or any other restriction.
• Resell, sublicense or redistribute CinemaBin or the data in it, including the title data that comes from TMDB.
• Upload anything designed to damage the service or the people using it.

If you do any of this we may suspend or remove your account, and where there is a real risk to other people we will do it without warning.

7. What you write stays yours

Your log, your ratings, your notes and your comments belong to you. We claim no ownership of them.

To run the service we need a limited licence to store your content, back it up, and show it to the people you have chosen to show it to. That licence exists only for operating CinemaBin, it is not transferable to anybody else, and it ends when you delete the content or your account. We will not use what you write to advertise anything, and we will not sell it.

Who those people are is set by you, with three separate controls: whether your account is private, whether your library can be browsed, and whether any one title is hidden. The second and third arrived in the version released on 7 September 2026 and did not exist before it. A new account now starts open, where before that release it started private; accounts made before it were left exactly as they were. The Privacy Policy explains each control and what it covers.

You are responsible for what you post. Do not write something in a note or a comment that you would not stand behind.

8. Other people, reporting and blocking

What other users write is theirs, not ours, and we do not check it in advance. Two things in the app deal with content you should not have to look at, and they work differently on purpose.

Reporting tells us. Every post, every comment and every account has a report button behind the menu in its corner. Pick a reason, add a line if you want to, and it reaches a person. We look at what was reported, and we remove what breaks these terms. Where somebody keeps breaking them we suspend or remove the account.

Looking at a report means looking at the account it is about. When we do, we can see that account's profile and diary even if it is set to private, because a decision about whether something breaks these terms cannot be made without reading it. It goes no further than that: we do not use it to browse accounts nobody has reported, and a title somebody marked private stays private to us as well. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what an administrator can and cannot see.

Blocking does not wait for us. Blocking somebody takes their posts and comments out of your app and yours out of theirs, removes any follow between you in both directions, and stops them following you, liking your posts or replying to them. It takes effect the moment you press it, it needs nobody's approval, and the other person is not told. Undo it under Settings, then Blocked accounts.

9. Where the film and TV data comes from

Titles, posters, episode lists and artwork come from TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB. That material belongs to TMDB and its own rights holders, it is provided to you only as part of using CinemaBin, and your use of it is subject to TMDB's terms as well as these. We cannot promise it is complete or correct, because we did not write it.

10. What it costs

CinemaBin is free to use. There is nothing to pay and no card to enter.

If we ever charge for anything, the price, the billing terms and the refund terms will be shown before you are asked to pay, and nothing will be taken from an account that has not agreed to it.

11. The service can change

We may add, change or remove features, and we may have to take CinemaBin down for maintenance. If we ever decide to shut it down for good, we will give you reasonable notice and a way to take your data with you.

12. No warranty

CinemaBin is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that the title data will be accurate. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.

13. Our liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profits, or for data loss beyond what we could reasonably have foreseen. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to the greater of the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months, or fifty euro.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected by these terms.

14. Ending it

You can delete your account at any time, in the app under Settings. It is immediate and permanent. The one moment you cannot is while the account is suspended: a ban somebody can erase for themselves is not a ban. If you want your data removed while a suspension stands, write to hello@redtekk.com; the Privacy Policy explains how we handle that.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we are required to by law. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

15. Changes to these terms

If we change them, the date at the top changes with it. For anything that meaningfully affects you we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and carrying on using CinemaBin afterwards means you accept the new version.

16. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia, and the competent courts in Belgrade have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

That does not take anything away from you. If you are a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you keep the right to bring a claim before the courts there.
